A day in history...

January 20, 2009, our 44th President will have his inauguration. This is truly going to be a day in history because our 44th President is the FIRST African American president. Since the day he decided to run there has been a lot of hype around him. Now that he has won the presidency, it more question then ever of what is to come. Giving some people an unexplainable feeling of hope, and others extreme anger. There has been a lot of rumors of what is to happen at his inauguration speech. There have been rumors of assination, which is once again peoples ignorance not allowing them to see this man past his color. Barack Obama is truly a great man and is going to make a good president. Other than that there is mostly positive things being said. He has much support from a lot of people. Oprah Winfrey is taking her talk show to The Kennedy Center the day before in honor of Mr. Obama, and it is also said that Beyonce would like to perform at his inauguation. It has not been confirmed if she will get the chance but she would like to. Washington D.C., is going to be flooded with people from all around the world to witness this day. Many powerful people will be there to witness because it is truly a day that will go down in history. I myself plan to go, and I think everyone should. Those who voted all helped to make this come true. It is going to be an experience I will remember forever, and I anxiously await the day.
